Quality assurance and organic standards
Setting new benchmarks for quality assurance in sustainable farming.
Analysis
Thorough sampling and analysis safeguard the quality of our organic crops. We test soil, assess seed quality, and monitor every step from sowing to harvest, with post-harvest checks confirming compliance.
Most analyses run in accredited external laboratories. Internal checks happen at silo intake and during dispatch, using calibrated equipment for fast, accurate results.
Organic standards
Navigating the intricate path of organic certification demands considerable time and effort. We know this firsthand, having successfully achieved EU Organic Standard, BioSuisse and Naturland certifications.
To streamline the process for fellow farmers, we’ve developed a Standards Comparison table, offering a clear overview of the diverse requirements for various certifications.
Risk management
Preventing contamination is a top priority in organic agriculture. We take a proactive approach through our Risk Rating Plots plan, which assesses each plot based on:
- size and shape,
- proximity to neighboring conventional farms,
- neighboring crop types and positioning,
- estimated risk percentage.
Plots are categorized from “No risk” to “Very high risk.” For gluten-free crops, precautionary measures during production are critical to prevent cross-contamination.
