Our ultimate aim is complete traceability, covering everything from the seed and each step in between, all the way to the consumer product. It’s a journey from the seed to fridge.

So far, we’ve developed two partial solutions:

FROM SEEDTO STORAGE

Detailed traceability sheets offer a comprehensive view of our cultivation practices, allowing you to understand the care and attention we invest in nurturing each and every crop.

We annually harvest 6,000 tons of crops, and we want to ensure that they are 100% traceable.

HOW DO WE ACHIEVE TRACEABILITY?

Our Farming Software serves as a comprehensive and reliable data source for our traceability and trackability efforts. Its Field operations, Warehouse operations, and Samples & Analysis modules seamlessly integrate the wealth of information we gather.

We have gone the extra mile to enable unprecedented insights into our production process and included reporting on the level of LOTs, where we can trace back all activities to its very first day:

Our journey began with traceability reports at the crop level, presented in PDF format in 2022. Last year, we reached a new pinnacle of transparency, unveiling the origins of our crops, our handling processes, and the essence of what we offer. It’s a level of openness that we believe stands unparalleled on a global scale.

Our journey of traceability continues, as we plan to showcase even more details – imagine browsing through operations and fields connected to these very crops within our Farming Software. We are also investigating the possibility of showcasing the impact we have on the environment.

FROM INGREDIENTS TO CONSUMERS' HANDS

In crafting our first consumer product, Njamito, we combined great taste and healthy ingredients with a focus on traceability.

Through a simple QR code scan, consumers can follow the product’s journey from its raw ingredients, through production, HPP, packaging, storage, and distribution until it is in their hands.

FROM SEEDTO FRIDGE

Our ultimate objective is combining both solutions to achieve comprehensive traceability, spanning from the seed and every step of the process to the final product – a journey from seed to fridge.

We have already taken our first step in implementing this solution by incorporating one of the ingredients, LoginEKO oats, into our consumer product, Njamito.

With a simple QR code scan, consumers can now trace the journey all the way back to the fields where oats were sown.

Once fully developed, we will provide this solution to interested parties free-of-charge.

SUSTAINABILITY RATING FOR RESPONSIBLE CHOICES

Full and simple traceability will demystify origins of foods for consumers, and simplify compliance procedures for companies. Coupling traceability solutions with an environmental impact assessment, we will create sustainability rating as an ultimate solution to motivate consumers and producers to act more responsibly, and sustainably.

FOSTERING FAIR TAXATION THROUGH TRACEABILITY

Traceability offers an additional advantageous outcome that extends throughout the entire journey from seed to fridge. This enables governments and policymakers to formulate equitable legislation that is grounded in accurate data. Imagine a scenario where environmentally detrimental practices incur higher taxation, while practices that contribute positively to the environment receive subsidies. And you will be able to trace them all with our traceability solution.
