A Data-Based Sowing Plan
The seeds of a successful harvest are sown long before the planting begins. At LoginEKO, the entire spring sowing season is planned in the fall, leveraging the advanced capabilities of our farming software. This system allows our team to efficiently plan all field operations using specially designed sowing templates. These templates, crafted by our seasoned agronomists, incorporate years of experience and data from past seasons, ensuring optimal planting strategies and resource allocation.
Task Scheduling: Precision in Every Operation
With favorable weather conditions and ripe grains, our agronomists have scheduled harvesting and transportation operations. Using the scheduling module in our software, we create detailed work schedules for vehicles, equipment, and field operators. Once the schedule is set, operators receive a work order via a mobile app, complete with all necessary instructions for task execution.
Starting the Harvest: Data-Driven Efficiency
The harvesting operation kicks off with operators meticulously recording start and finish of each operation, fuel consumption and machine working hours, enabling us to have precise data for cost calculation. These records are crucial for managing fuel expenses, machine depreciation, and operator working time, ensuring that every aspect of the operation is tracked and optimized.
From Field to Silo
During the harvest, each unload from the harvester to the trailers is tracked using our software. When the harvester’s bunker is full, a request is sent to the unloading trailer, which records the material’s quantity. The software also generates a unique LOT number for all materials on the transport vehicle, ensuring traceability.
“The future of sustainable farming lies in the seamless integration of technology and traditional practices. By continually enhancing our software and sharing our knowledge, we aim to contribute to more transparent and efficient agricultural practices.”
Once the harvest is complete, the grains are transported to storage, where they are weighed, processed, and packed into bags labeled with unique LOT and serial numbers. Our warehouse operations module provides an easy overview of all materials and products, tracking every transaction to ensure complete traceability from seed to final product.
Monitoring and Validation: Ensuring Accuracy
The LoginEKO Farming Software can monitor the progress of field operations in real-time, providing insights into the efficiency of planning and execution. All recorded data can be validated and corrected, enhancing accuracy and reliability. This approach to data management is crucial for cost control, data-driven decision-making, and maintaining product traceability, which fosters transparency and strengthens customer trust.
Preparing to go global
Our Farming Software, continuously tested and refined in all agricultural operations at the LoginEKO farm, is now being extended to a couple of partner farms in our region, who will be our first Beta-testers. By sharing the software with these farmers, we aim to ensure its efficiency beyond our own environment, preparing it for public release. Once proven effective, we plan to share this innovative solution freely with farms interested in adopting it, paving the way for widespread data-driven and efficient farming practices.
