Following our first and second phase of harvesting, we are pleased to share the successful completion of the third and final phase of our harvest. This completes the harvest of our first season of gluten-free production.
In this phase, we harvested a total of 2,241.7 tons of various organically grown crops, bringing our total harvest for 2024 to more than 8.700 t.
We’ve harvested 1,745 tons of organic sunflower from 740 hectares, certified under EU regulations, as well as BioSuisse and Naturland organic standards. Additionally, we harvested 29.8 tons of organic corn from 12 hectares, certified under EU regulations and BioSuisse standards.
To maintain our high standards and prevent contamination, we have chosen to sell some of our organically grown crops without organic certificates. This includes crops from fields we’ve declassified as a precautionary measure, crops from fields where contamination has occurred and crops from newly certified fields undergoing conversion.
This includes 448 tons of organically grown sunflower from 222 hectares, 18.2 tons of organically grown corn from 5.2 hectares and 1.7 tons of organically grown sorghum from 0.8 hectares.
As we conclude this harvest season, we want to thank our hardworking team for their dedication. To see our full range of our crops, their availability, certifications and their comprehensive traceability please visit our wholesale page.
