Common Agricultural Policy
The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) lies at the core of the EU agriculture and rural development regulation. While it has undergone many minor reforms in the past, it never managed to truly respond to the growing necessity for sustainable practices. It is time to rethink the entire policy and open new pathways for a systemic change.
We are analyzing the current CAP and its potential for significant reforms and engaging with key stakeholders, including in the framework of the Forum on the Future of Agriculture. We will share our concrete proposals for the next CAP reform (post-2027 CAP) by the end of the year.
