Harvest 2025 begins with peas! See why they matter for rotation and nutrition, and what other crops are lined up this season.

The most demanding season for any farmer has officially begun—harvest is here.

We kicked off the 2025 season by harvesting one of our most important crops: peas. More than just a protein-rich legume, peas are a primary nitrogen fixer in our crop rotation. They enrich the soil naturally, reduce the need for external inputs, and pave the way for healthier crops in the seasons that follow.

Behind the scenes, our Farming Software plays a key role in making it all work. From pre-harvest planning to real-time coordination across machines and teams, the software ensures efficiency, traceability, and precision at every step.

What’s ahead?

June continues with oats, wheat, flax and broad beans, which often mature around the same time. Some seasons, the harvest for these crops stretches into early July, so we closely monitor grain moisture for each crop. Chickpeas and spelt follow in July, and millet in August.

Sunflower and sorghum are planned for the autumn harvest, although in recent years they’ve ripened earlier due to high summer temperatures.

Each crop comes with its own harvesting strategy, timing, and role in our crop rotation. As we move through the rest of the harvest, our focus stays the same: Grow with purpose. Harvest with care. And share what we learn along the way.
