We’ve begun sowing oats, flax, peas, wheat, and broad beans at LoginEKO, setting the stage for a sustainable and productive winter crop season.

Sowing flax

Our winter sowing season is officially underway at LoginEKO! This year, we’re sowing a variety of winter crops.

This season, we’ve started with the sowing of flax, which will cover a total of 144.25 hectares—79.54 hectares in our northern location and 64.71 hectares in the southern location.

Next, we’ve moved on to sowing oats, which, as one of our gluten-free crops, takes up a significant part of our fields this season. In total, oats will be sown on 848.05 hectares across both locations. Following that, we’ll be planting peas, wheat, and spelt to complete the winter sowing plan.

Sowing oats

As we begin this new season, we’re looking forward to a productive and successful harvest.

While these crops are being sown now, we’re also planning ahead for the spring season.

In March and early April, we’ll be sowing crops like sunflower and chickpea. During the winter, some fields will wait for spring sowing with harvest residues on them.
