MirAgro Visits Our Farm in Novi Kneževac

MirAgro joined us in Novi Kneževac to talk about seeds, traceability, and regional opportunities for organic farming.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting our dear neighbours from Hungary, MirAgro, a company specializing in organic farming, grain trading, and consulting.

Their visit wasn’t just about seeing the fields (although we did plenty of that). It was about exploring where our goals align, especially when it comes to the trade of organic raw materials and the future of seed production.

After settling in at our newly opened spaces in Novi Kneževac, we dove into the conversation, sharing what drives our sustainable farming model, why traceability and food safety are at the heart of it, and where we see the potential for real collaboration.

We were eager to learn more about the food industries they work with, and what’s shaping demand in their region.

Naturally, a visit like this wouldn’t be complete without a look at the fields. Together, we walked through our test plots, where our agronomists Đura and Bojan explained how our seed production program is evolving. (We recently wrote more about that in our article on mastering organic seed production.)

One of the big discussion points was this year’s harvest and planning for seed production in 2025/26. We also exchanged insights on raw material pricing, processing partnerships, and how to ensure quality and transparency across the supply chain.

Because in the end, this isn’t just about trading crops. It’s about building lasting, reliable partnerships, rooted in shared values, and grown with purpose. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead. Thanks again to the MirAgro team for making the trip, and for the meaningful exchange.
